Kara Mihelich, MS, OTR/L
Hi, I’m Kara, the owner and director of Fountain Pediatrics. I have over 15 years of experience as an OT in sensory integration clinics, schools, homes and backyards.
In 2009, I left my home state of Michigan and graduated from WMU with my Masters degree in OT to collect experience working in Tampa Bay, FL.
I spent two years in Los Angeles, where I continued my education, completing the Sensory Integration Certification at the University of Southern California. I spent my time there learning from and treating alongside the best OTs in the field of sensory integration at a unique outdoor clinic in Santa Monica before returning to Florida in 2020. Then, Fountain Pediatrics was born.
I am grateful to bring tailored and personalized OT to the greater Tampa Bay community, where I have planted a piece of my heart. I have a deep understanding for the importance of neurodivergent-affirming care. I value inclusivity, quality of care, and meeting the client where they are for a client-led approach.
Some of my favorite things: Living near the water, baking sourdough bread, ballet, cooking, traveling, and fitness.
Tina Blue, OTR/L
Tina is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and a recognized authority on functional cognition within the field of occupational therapy. She has authored several publications, including the widely used textbook “Occupational Therapy Treatment Goals for the Physically & Cognitively Disabled,” co-authored with Claudia Allen and Catherine Earhart. With over 40 years of clinical experience, Tina has worked with a diverse range of OT patients of all ages, across multiple settings. Her pediatric experience includes splinting newborns with traumatic birth injuries, providing OT services in schools for Pre-K through high school, and honing her Interactive Metronome treatment skills in her outpatient private practice, where she focused on learning disabilities and neurological disorders such as ADD/ADHD, Tourette’s Syndrome, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, Tina has extensive experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, which she applied in inventing a patented ergonomic soft wrap recovery brace called the WrapAdapt, designed for wrist and ankle sprains.
Tina loves being an Occupational Therapist and values time for imagination, creativity, and practical thinking that contribute to a more purposeful existence. She enjoys finding humor and irony in everyday situations (often laughing at herself), being a doting homebody, pampering her pets, and traveling to distant places with her husband and muse of over 40 years, Steve.

Jenna believes in a holistic, individualized approach that meets each child at their current level and builds on their strengths.
