Kara Mihelich
Hi, I’m Kara, the owner and director of Fountain Pediatrics. I have over 15 years of experience as an OT in sensory integration clinics, schools, homes and backyards.
In 2009, I left my home state of Michigan and graduated from WMU with my Masters degree in OT to collect experience working in Tampa Bay, FL.
I spent two years in Los Angeles, where I continued my education, completing the Sensory Integration Certification at the University of Southern California. I spent my time there learning from and treating alongside the best OTs in the field of sensory integration at a unique outdoor clinic in Santa Monica before returning to Florida in 2020. Then, Fountain Pediatrics was born.
I am grateful to bring tailored and personalized OT to the greater Tampa Bay community, where I have planted a piece of my heart.
Some of my favorite things: Living near the water, baking sourdough bread, meeting new people, dancing, cooking, traveling, yoga and strength training.
